Just As He Is

Jesus left Heaven's glory and His mighty throne for a stable in Bethlehem.
The King of the ages had a humble home. He was all God and He was all man.
They stripped our Lord of His homespun robe, and His tomb was borrowed that day;
But the glorified one, that went back to Heaven, will come back to Earth the same way.
He won't be a little babe in a manger having people say: He's a carpenters child.
He won't look like the suffering Savior, walking that last long weary mile.
He'll appear in the clouds with a power so strong the devil just can't resist.
When King Jesus comes to Earth again, we'll see Him just as He is.
Revelation tells about the risen Lord, such a wondrous site to behold.
He had feet like brass, eyes like fire; His robes decorated with gold,
With a voice like many waters; He'll speak and the world will know what they missed.
Like the saints and the angels with the heavenly host, we'll see Him as He is.
